Fremont Street

We are looking at going to Fremont Street. What are somethings that you don't want to miss. Also any good / fun places for dinner.

Thanks!

go when it's dark so you see the light show.

Get a drink off the sidewalk bar. Get drunk off your butt for cheap.

Go to Hogs and Heifers. Dance on the bar.

if you are into buffets, main street station has one of the best values in town.

just check out the casinos. they are close together, so you should try to see every one.

There are a bunch of good places to eat but fun places, hmm, maybe Hennesseys or Mickifinz just outside the canopy on Fremont.

Magnolias in the 4 Queens is very good so is the Bay City Diner at Golden Gate. For a nice steak dinner with great ambience, Binions Ranch Steakhouse on the 24th floor, Robertos at the El Cortez or the buffets at the Fremont or Main Street Station. There's also the Chicago Brewing Co. in the 4 Queens that has good pizza and homemade brews.

Also, try the Dome Lounge at the Plaza second floor. Very big and a great place to watch the light show.

There are tons of fun things to do on Fremont!! They have a live band that plays on a stage between the Fitz and the Four Queens - Here's a link you can watch

And go to the Golden Nugget to see the shark tank pool and the big Nugget. Kinda unique.

I'd second the suggestion to see the swimming pool at the GN. Would also recommend the $1.99 shrimp at GG and for a meal, Hugo's Cellar at the 4 Queens.

In addition to the band that plays on stage, there's a fabulous sax player who plays in front of the Golden Nuggett and various artists (finger painter, spray paint artist, charicaturists, etc.)
