Big Elvis times? Good for a non-Elvis fan?

Wondering what the show times are.

Hear so many rave reviews about this show. Mom & Dad will probably like it. Would I, not a big Elvis fan?

If you're just "not an Elvis fan," I think you'll tolerate the show well enough. Big E plays to the crowd and it can be fun to see their reactions, especially if he brings your mom up to dance or something. :)

Now, if you actively HATE Elvis music or something, that's different.

I believe there are 3 shows a day - one is at 3pm, then I believe 4:30 and again at 5:30 - you should check the website though to be certain since my memory fails me often!

It's a great show - I'm not the biggest Elvis fan ever, but I made an effort to go check it out this past trip since I had heard great things and it's free. Free is worth checking out! It was worth every penny I didn't pay and I believe I may have actually paid a few pennies for it since I was so impressed. He's great with the crowd and has an awesome voice. Nothing says Vegas like Elvis.

I think it's 3 (or 3:30),5 & 6 (but check the Bill's website). I'm not a fan but dh is, so I'm going for him.

And only on weekdays.

I'm just a so-so Elvis fan, but I enjoyed the show. I just had two small complaints: 1. The woman who comes out and does a number just wasn't that great. It was a little karaoke-ish to me. 2. Elvis only sang, like 3 songs I know (possibly because I'm just a so-so Elvis fan). He did a lot of gospel songs the day we were there. He was a very good impersonator, though. We enjoyed it. And I think the whole show only lasts an hour, so even if you don't enjoy it, it's over fairly quickly.

Shows are 3, 5 and 6:30, Monday to Friday. Big Elvis was ok. We didn't have a woman, we had a man came on and sing, and praise Elvis about his weight loss, and go on about getting a star for Elvis from the Las Vegas fans. I didn't see the point in this man at all. Also, Elvis wasn't really up to much and sat a lot during the show that I saw. I wouldn't rush back to see him, not even for the 99c margaritas I'm afraid.

Really, the Big Elvis show is just sort of in a far corner of the casino with a scattering of tables and chairs around....not far from the bar.

My dh liked Elvis and always clowns around imitating him....lol! So, he made it a point of stopping by to see him when we were in V. He watched the show and I (not a huge fan of the real Elvis) kind of just played slots nearby and listened at the same time. Worked out great for us without being in the opposite-ends-of-the-world from each other during the performance.

Dh lucked out and Big Elvis sang the whole hour. He said he really enjoyed it; and I enjoyed listening a little from a slot machine...lol.

It's not that big of a deal. Just a really fat guy doing an Elvis show. If he wasn't fat, it would be really cheesy. And, he's losing weight.

There's a reason it's free.
