Venitian Rip Off - B e w a r e

Imagine a direct e-mail from the Venitian advertising a $169 mini suite / 2 tickets to Pantom room package. Imagine trying to book this special and being told there is a 2 night minimum stay! Bait and switch of the worst kind. Three booking agents gave 3 different prices. Abysmal. Even the subject line of the email is "Luxury suites and 2 tickets from $169". Understandably weekends begin at $209. The Venitian is just one large corporate thief. Let everyone know if you've been lured in by their deceptive practices.

all offers have "fine print"

this isn't a rip-off, it's an offer with specific requirements.

You happen to not like those requirements, which is fine.

When clicking on the email offer, it takes you to the Venetian webpage and states very plainly that two nights are required. It's not even on the fine print section at the bottom. Granted it's not stated on the email itself.

I had no problems with any of the agents I called to inquire on details of the package. They even will allow to split the tickets up over two nights if a traveller is solo. It also states in the webpage for that offer that the tickets are for balcony seats but you can upgrade them at the box office upon arrival for $30 which is still a great deal.

For the different rates they told you... Not all the weekday dates are available at the package rate so perhaps that was the problem.

Rip-off? I really don't think so. just life in the big city. Regardless of what and where, it's always buyer beware. Many (most?) Vegas offers have caveats. You sound kind of naive.

BUYER BEWARE. I have repeatedly informed folks that Venetian and Owner Adelson are out to fleece the folks.

From $ 169.00 says it all.

1 room at that price, the rest,,,, U guessed it.

Well I don't know, just about every Hotel/Casino in Vegas has a two night minimum and is fairly common knowledge.

Bridge rocks. He/she is smart enough to read that there fine print.

Don't like the offer, don't stay there. Histrionics aside, everyone loves to attack Venetian and HET. It's a business. They are capitalists.

Every deal I have ever received had conditions attached: certain days, had to be used by a certain date, minimum stay, maximum stay, etc. It is not that unusual.
