The outlet malls in LV have discount shopping but alot of the stuff in the outlet malls is fake. Bannana Republic, Polo Ralph Lauren, ect is NOT the same clothing that is sold in regular malls so Beware. I think half of the stores in the outlet malls sell fake clothing and half of them sell real clothing. The best oulet mall is near Downtown Las Vegas(I've forgotten the mame of it).

The Fashion Show Mall, The Form Shops at Ceasars Palace, and the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood Hotel are the biggest regular malls in LV and all of them are within 1 mile of each other on the LV strip. The regular malls have good sales also you just have to look around.

Good Luck

I dont know bout half the stores selling fake items, I bought a suitcase load of Ralph Lauren, Nautica, CK and Hugo Boss items from outlet malls in Vegas and cannot see a single thing on them that would make me think they were fake in the slightest way. So either theyre fantastic copies in thier own stores or i bought the genuine thing.

I would definatly recommend the outlet malls for shopping, prices are very good compared to AUS, and our dollars doing quite well atm, well it was, it seems to have dropped back down into the low 80's but even still for what you pay you get very good deals.

There are two outlet malls in Vegas and one about 45 minutes away(Primm). I think the best one is Premium Outlet. The other one is on Warm Springs/strip-Las Vegas Outlet Center. I would not go to Primm just to visit that outlet mall. None of them sell "fake" anything.

Here is a list of malls in Vegas- both regular malls and outlet malls.

There are so many attractions in Vegas it is hard to pick out the "must sees."

Bellagio fountains (at night ) and conservatory.

Eiffel Tower.

Venetian canals and ceilings.

Forum Shops at Caesars Palace- both a mall and an attraction.

Just popping in and out of the various casinos to look at their lobbies, shops, attractions, etc. is going to take a big chunk of your time.

Here is a list of attractions:

Vpo3- I went to te oulet mall near Downtown Las Vegas 2 years ago with a friend who got a gift card for that outlet mall from the Golden Nugget as part of her comps and the Polo Ralph Lauren store and the Bannana Republic store were filled with fake stuff. I don't even think the belts and socks were real. LOL I even asked one of the sales girls at BR about this and she reluctanctly said yes it's not the same merchandse that is sold in "regular" BR stores. Everything looked so cheaply made compared to the regular stores and it's not like PRL and BR are high-end clothing to begin with. The big thick Polo sweaters looked insultingly bad.

I did go to the Armani Exchange store at the same mall and from what I saw everything appeared to be real the same merchandise as the regular AX stores.

I am sorry to have ofended anyone and the Claiborne, Hugo Boss, ect. stuff may be real but the BR and PRL stuff was definately not. Things may have changed since 2 years ago but as I recall I went to an oulet mall near Lake Elsinore/Temecula California in 1995 and I think I remeber seein lower quality stuff also, although I could be wrong.

BTW the friend I was at the outlet mall with in Las Vegas was buying the "stuff" at the PRL store and I told her the clothes are not real and for the life of her she didn't want to accept it, in fact I think she even loaded up more "stuff". LOL :o)

Things to see:

1. Walk on the strip and go into the casinos, you don't need to gamble. They are spectacles themselves.

2. See a show or two or three. Shows here are better than anywhere else.

3. Red Rock Canyon, and get out and hike a trail

4. Go up he Eiffel Tower at night and watch the Bellagio fountain

Grand Canyon is too far and deserves more than a few hour visit.
