So you never found any time to see a show, dine in a great restaurant, visit a nightclub, or take a day trip to Hoover Dam? Gosh, I'd have to work really hard to be that boring.

Any good weather website can help you with your other question.

We've planned a few things away from the tables for our trip, as we always do. This year, our list;

Gun Store - I've never shot a gun before

Trip out to Valley of Fire and Lake Mead

Sports game - LV Rebels college football team

Cinema (see something not out in the uk yet).

I'm there for 11 days. Just a few thoughts....

Visiting LV last December I've went to Ethel M's chocolate Factory in Henderson. They have a cactus garden which they fill with lights for the festive season. It's very pretty (and free!) You can also look in the factory and maybe get a sample of the chocs.

Go to a spa for a day of pampering. Shop at regular malls and outlet malls:

Rent a car and hike/see Valley of Fire or take a paddle boat cruise on Lake Mead.

Visit some off strip restaurants, casinos, attractions such as Rosemary's Restaurant (look at their promos):

It is hard to believe you have gone to all the attractions:

See some great shows.

As someone already posted- go see Ethel M Cactus garden at night:

Another good Christmasy place- Sam's Toen at night.

The weather can vary greatly. Average high-60 but the high can range from the low 50s to the high 70s. Average low-40 but can range from the 20s to the 50s. Check a weather site just before leaving to get an accurage forecast and bring clothes that can be layered.

I actually forget there is gambling in LV...trust me I leave plenty of money behind anyway. I think LV is the people watching capital of the world..I like to stroll the strip..stopping whever I please..usually get back to the hotel several hours later. I love windowshopping and that is world class too. We will be there the same time...look on weather.com...we are expecting pleasant weather in day and jackets at night.

If I were lucky enough to talk my husband into letting me go to Vegas in December this is how I would spend my time:

Fountains at Bellagio

Conservatory at Bellagio (I think that is what it is called, basically see all the flowers)

Shopping at Forum Shops

Outlet Shopping

Shopping at Fashion Show Mall

Drooling at the shops in Bellagio (too expensive to do anything but some admiring)

Comedy Show at the Tropicana (booklets in room and in cabs sometimes have 2 for 1 coupons or $5 off)

Listen to live music in several casinos (free except for buying an expensive cocktail-make mine a margarita)

Roller coaster at NY NY (okay I can be a little crazy)

Spas (I heard the one at Caesar's is supposed to be fabulous, not lucky enough to try yet, would get a day pass to check out facilities)

Just a few things I would do. Have a fab time in Vegas!!!

I was there for 4 days recently, and only spent 20$ gambling. THere's lots to do. I enjoyed the Titanic exhibit at the Tropicana (moving to the Luxor soon) - you can get half price tickets at places along the strip. We also visited the shark reef at Mandalay Bay (it was ok), went up to the top of the Stratosphere (I highly recommend this at night), and saw some Cirque shows. Cheque www.vegas.com for 'attractions' - they even have a list of free ones.
