First time trip. Do I need a van?

My wife and I are traveling to Vegas the first wk of Nov and I am debating on getting a minivan. I have 2 kids (3 and 17months) and am bring my parents. Do you think I needs a van to get around w/ the kids? Also any tips or advice to see Grand Canyon? Thanks

I would say yes. You'll be more comfortable getting around - even with the traffic - considering the younguns and olduns. You can use valet park for additional ease.

We had 6 adults and I rented a minivan through southwest.com for 3 days for $119.

I believe there is a limit of 5 people or less in a lot of cabs. Also, if you want your kids in a car seat, you will need to rent something.

4 adults and 2 kids are too much for a regular car. Minivan is it.
