Weather for next week from Sunday onwards please

Hello

Well your snow in Las Vegas even made it into the English press today!! At first people thought it wasn’t real because it was in Las Vegas, i.e. that someone had made it look like snow.

I knew by the TA posts the snow was most definitely real!!

Thank you for your advice over the last few weeks regarding my forthcoming trip to Vegas, yes (weather permitting!!) I will arrive on Sunday and you guessed my question, I’d be grateful to hear what the weather may be like.

I’ve checked the forecast from a few websites and it would appear to vary from 3c to 10c most days but with the odd chance of rain on a day or two but on the whole mainly dry. But to me a temperature varying from 3c (low) to 10c (high) is a big variation in temperature.

I would be grateful to hear what the forecast is going to be like for next week. At present I think the forecast is cold (say 7c average for the day) (but not bitingly cold), i.e. no severe winds which make the temperatures feel 5c colder than what they are.

Is this correct or is it a bit warmer than 7c?

I don’t think you have any more snow forecast?

I’m planning on bringing my layers, gloves and a scarf and am hoping the scarf stays in the hotel room!!

Any more detailed weather forecasts would be appreciated.

Thank you

PS I’m flying direct from Manchester to Las Vegas (and not going via Chicago thank goodness!!)

You already did - you said you checked some websites!! That is all anyoen else can do. Even if someone posting here was a meterologist they would have access to the same information you do - just as all of us. with the internet it does not require any more than you have done - check various websites, up until you walk out the door. The weather changes daily, as you know.

You can't get any more setail from anyone who will post here than you can on your own.

Yes the info you got sounds correct. Our weather people here are saying lows in the mid 30's and highs about 50. The low is at about 4 in the morning the high at about noon. And yes a chance of rain. Bring layers, gloves and scarfs are good if you are walking the strip. Have a nice trip.

As usual bridge's post is brutally honest, emphasis on the brutal part.

Daily highs are forecasted to be in C 10, 13, 8, 8, 7, 11, 8 and 10 Sun - Sun. Lows 3, 3, 1, 1, -2, -2, 1, 3.

Chance of rain on Wed and Thu. (This has changed from Thu to Wed and Fri to now Wed and Thu, might change again.)

The good news is it's always sunny and 22 C inside the casinos.

The advice about bringing layers is smart. A sweater coat, quilted best, turtle neck sweater and t-shirt type top should be sufficient...along with some good cords.
