Dog Friendly Hotels?

We need a hotel that allows small dogs. We would love to stay on the strip and do not mind paying a pet fee. Any suggestions? TIA!

The Westin Casuarina accepts dogs under 40 pounds and does state that you may have to put an extra nights fee as a security deposit. It is on Flamingo maybe 5-6 blocks from the strip. I do not think there are any strip hotels that allow pets, this question has been asked before without much success.

I know the Four Seasons has been rumored to allow small pets but you would have to call to be sure. It is on the far south end of the strip inside Mandalay Bay.

I just checked Four Seasons info and they state "small pets only" and "pet deposit required".

Why would you take your dog to Las Vegas? I guess I just don't understand the point of traveling with pets. Find a nice kennel and board him.

Westin Causarina is less than 2 blocks from The Strip.

Four Seasons is on The Strip.

Ellis Island's hotel is a Super 8 that allows dogs. They charge a little bit extra. It's a short walk from the strip, behind Bally's.

Thanks!! I will look into these!

As for boarding my dog...I would not board my daughter and would not board my dog either. There is no one to keep him and he travels everywhere with us and is very well behaved. I do know what Vegas is about but still would not leave my dog with total strangers....I guess that is just me.

P.S. for our trip our daughter will be on vacation with her grandparents so we wanted a little getaway...

Thanks again for your great tips!!

Don't know what kind of kennels you have in Fla, but here in Kentucky, I am a resort manager for a boarding facilty. Toddler beds, Tv's, playtimes and ice cream, and all the TLC the pups want. Doesn't sound to bad to me.

Dogs just dont belong in hotels, casinos, restaurants or biting me as I walk down the strip. And I certainly would not like smelling cat odor in an expensive room.

Red Rock Station also allows small pets as does Four Seasons. But most have restrictions about leaving the dog alone, etc.

Possibly the first and only time you'll ever see Four Seasons and the Ellis Island Super 8 bracketed together as being potential options for somebody....... :-)
