Now we KNOW Vegas is in trouble...

...when I'm getting comp offers. From Treasure Island. You know how long it's been since I stayed there? Has to be at least ten years. Letter reads "it's been a while"...I'll say, LOL. Two free weeknights or $59 on the weekend, as many times as we want until August I think, $50 free play and some other stuff.

Hi WW - Well, it's been over 5 years since we stayed at TI. We haven't received any promos yet.

I did get 3 nights comped at Venetian this month...so I'm pleased about that...

Every time I get ready to book at another hotel, the Venetian has a great, irresistible promo!!!

Even though we can get TI free for our March trip, we're still doing the Golden Nugget for $59 plus perks - we haven't been downtown in ages, I want to go to Binion's and the Rat Pack show.

Sometimes free isn't the best choice.

We got three nights at the Fitz downtown, free...never stayed there..maybe I signed up for a card??

Turned it down, gonna head to Excalibur for a low/mid price stay on the strip.

Was hoping for Bills..but nada. (Stayed there in October, got the free tshirt, breakfast on points etc...) Really liked the convenience..

Staying in June this time..preparing for the heat!

Maybe MGM has a deal with the purchaser of TI to try to drum up business going forward??

Well, I was going to stay at MGM or Harrah's before I got the Venetian promo.....that's a no-brainer!!!

We loved staying at the V. I was booking somewhere else only to try a new hotel. I'd rather put the $400-$500 in a slot, than spend it on a room. LOL

I got comped for my next trip from 4/18 to 4/22 from the Harrah's properties. Hopefully someone can give me their opinion as I have 2 choices.

Flamingo Deluxe Room (Not Go Room)

or

Bally's South Tower

Which one should I take?

For those that DO receive free rooms, is there any benefit to checking in...and not stayng there?

Spend some money in the casino, use your card..eat some..they KNOW you took advantage of their offer, will it help to keep offers coming so that you may choose the property the next?

Also, can you check in and yet, let someone else stay in the room?? After check in and the room key is given to someone..would that work?

For instance, my mom and her guy..

wondering the ins and outs of this stuff.

We have been 4 times now in 5 yrs..LOVE IT!

how much do you all drop in the slots or on the tables in order to get all these comps?

I have not stayed at TI for TEN YEARS. And when I did I'm sure my bankroll was less than the $200/day it is today.

Stars..

I don't even remember BEING IN the Fitz downtown,,checked my players cards..didn't find one..

We get offers from Harrahs properties often enough but never a good time for us to go and we don't drop in much..

maybe $100.00 between 2 of us..my husband more than me but he plays craps (so he is probably betting way more that I know!)

Just sign up for the cards!
