Entertainment Book~Can you use coupons if they are detached?

Hi. I have found a few websites where people are selling coupons from these books and obviously they have been removed. Will casinos, car rental agencys, etc... honor them if they are not attached to the original book? Sorry probably a stupid question but you never know.

Yes, definitely. We tore out all of the ones we wanted to use before we went to Vegas.

If it's the American Casino Guide then yes, they should be torn out. If it's the Las Vegas Advisor aka MRB book then no, the coupon has to stay attached to the book. It's a really small book though.

The Entertainment Book is a different entity. I think you can use the coupons if they are detached but I think you have to also present the membership card as well. They can track the coupon usage to make sure you only use one offer if they want. With the promotions they run on the Entertainment Book, it would make more sense to buy your own than buy coupons from it.

leo is correct. The Entertainment Book needs a membership card which comes with the book to use the coupons. You can purchase a whole book right now for 50% off. Just go to their website. The LV version is about $12.50 right now.

Thanks so much for the help. I found an auction for these and didn't want to buy coupons that I wouldn't be able to even use!

I noticed the good deal on these...

Are there any coupons for the strip/near strip or downtown?

A few two for ones near or on the strip. Most are for shows but Blondie's at PH, The German restaurant near the strip, several things near the strp but you would need a car to get to many of them.

At this low price if you used it for only a few coupons and a two for one show you will have saved a bundle.

I think that the two for one at Casa Di Amore is a steal and you can have them pick you up for dinner in their limo so no car needed!

You can see all of their coupons at

www.entertainment.com and look at the LV edition.

If you already own an entertainment book for your area, you can print off some of the Vegas coupons. They are only good for two weeks, so you shouldn't print them off too early.

I will be traveling as a single. Will most places (or any place) honor the 2 for 1 by giving me 1/2 off? Southpoint did the last time I was there, but I don't know if they will do it other places. Anyone get 1/2 off instead of 2 for 1?
