Shuttle Bus???

We have booked through Exspedia and we will have a shuttle form the airport to our resort, Treasure Island. My question is, will this shuttle bus only go to our resort or will it stop at different locations along the way? My husband gets car sick and I dont want him to be green before we make our destination.

TI does not have their own shuttle. This means you are going to take one of the public shuttles, which will be stopping at a number of hotels. There is no way in advance to now the number of stops or the order.

Well that is just not good. If we took a cab, how long would it take from the air port to the hotel??? And how much?

Sorry, he may very well be green time you get there. The shuttles are usually full and sometimes slow. Hope he will be OK. Good luck.

Oh my, I might call exspedia and cancel the shuttle and just rent a cab. No tunnel right? Oh I knew that the shuttle would be like that. We should have never taken that option.

There usually aren't tooooo many stops, however, keep in mind that TI is a little bit further north, so there are a lot of hotels that come first.

Ya we had no idea when we booked that it was that far. I thought that it was close to where we needed to be,but we had to book what we could afford. We have been wanting to go to Vegas for a while now and so we just went with the Cheapest. The hotel looks great and has great reviews. I am funny about where ill lay my head at night. Hahahahahahaha!

Boy are you going to hate this answer, lol. Based on what you've said not only is a cab probably your best option. Not only that, but depending on the time and the day you might be better off to ask the driver to TAKE THE TUNNEL.

Yes it will probably cost a few dollars more, but not that much to TI. And it would be the fastest way, and the route with the least amount of stops & starts.

It just goes to show you that every situation is different. And the well accepted mantras often used, like no tunnel or always book direct, etc. may not always apply.

dirty: "no one on the shuttle"...not a chance..they wait sometimes a half hour until it fills up...otherwise, they would not make a profit...also, the shuttle driver will not let you off when you feel "green"....plus, if its two of you, you will pay about the same for a taxi..

Which shuttle did they book you on? I've had good experiences with Gray line/Coach USA. Can't speak for the other companies, but it was about a 15 minute wait to fill up at the airport and then only four resorts in the same area. My trips were solo, so the shuttle was a big cost savings.

With two people, the cost advantage over a cab isn't that much. Shuttles are usually $6 per person, plus tips. You'll only save, maybe $10 each way over a cab.
