Why not book direct with the hotel? When booking direct, if the room rates go down, you can always call and get your rates reduced to that amount. Can you do that at either of those sites? And, most of the casino/hotels have a very liberal cancellation policy. Good luck.

I booked with them in March for a stay last week. Got the GO Room at the Flamingo with a $30 resort credit for $48 a night.

I had checked the Flamingo site and their fee was much higher. I had no problem checking in and the $30 resort fee could be used for almost anything - as long as it was charged to my room. We used it for room service (breakfast). Good experience!

bestofvegas and smartervegas are two totally different animals. smartervegas is a site that collates hotel promotions in one place and its links send you to the hotels' own reservation pages. You're actually booking direct with the hotel with all the advantages that gives you in terms of cancellations and adjusting rates should they change in your favor. bestofvegas is a third party booking operator. Full non-refundable payment will be required at time of reservation and these are the rates you'll be locked into. No part of the cost of your accommodation can be comped if you're intending to gamble to any degree.

Have you tried signing up for email updates from the Golden Nugget? I haven't set foot in the place for nearly two years but I get what seem to be great offers virtually weekly.

Thanks everyone for the help, yes, I have signed up with the Golden Nugget and have checked their website and others for prices but can't find anything thats lower then the price I can get from bestofvegas, I do realize that it is non refundable(well there is a $20 cancellation fee) but I think the price of $63.99 for a Friday night is pretty good, since our trip isn't until June maybe I will wait a few weeks before I book just in case a better deal comes along...
