Swine Flu Panic

Swine Flu Panic will be all over the news in the next week.

Airlines and Vegas need this like another hole in the head.

Make sure to keep checking your rates.

According to the CDC the only cases in the USA now are in New York. Not sure it is worth worring about.

My son is flying in on Monday to play golf with me. I told him after LAX and the casinos all he needs is a concert or huge sports event with tens of thousands of people all crammed together. Norge, there are cases in Calif. and Arizona. And, of course, Mexico.

Yep, one more thing to worry about, as if there isn't enough already!

BTW, Swearingen, I'm so sad that your TOO FUNNY, HYSTERICAL fake Walgreens TR was removed.

That was the best EVER. It will be missed. :(

Just make sure that nobody who's coughing, sneezing or looking like death warmed over is sitting next to you while gambling. That'd sure wipe the fun out of your vacation. Geez, pretty soon we'll all be wearing masks as they did during the SARS outbreak.

The biggest advice they have on the news is be sure to wash your hands a lot. They said if it is caught early then it is not a problem.

My advice is don't put your hands on your face which is easier said than done for sure. rubbing your fingers on your nose/eyes can make it easier to catch something.

I am thinking of bringing some wipes with me to Vegas next month!

If only signs were posted in bathrooms for people to observe hand washing!!! Probably wouldn't help though. Worst I have seen was woman going straight from BR without washing and then in line to eat breakfast! Ugh! I try not to think where all hands have been when playing slots! So I just play faster hoping to outrun germs! Hope this passes before our trip May 19 as don't relish thought of plane load of people from everywhere. But can't stay in house and hide from everything all the time.
