What's the deal with craps tables?

I was wondering why Casino's don't offer seats (barstool type) at craps tables? I love playing craps & would play more if they offered , It's entirely too hard to stand when wasted & have a enjoyable gaming session. IMO Craps should have seats like most of the other games, unless theres a good reason not to.

Space is the deal.

Why would you gamble when your wasted??

Thats rule Number 1 to a serious gambler, being wasted and betting money dont mix.

You ever see how foolish a drunk is at a BJ table..

not there

How ould you reach across and place your bets or throw the dice while seated? All the seats would take up space needed by other players. Not a very good idea at all.Plus who wants to

put up with a drunk next to him or her? not I?

DiceMan, I do know Rule #1 & usually do take my gaming seriously & not drink But when in Vegas my mind isn't on the bottom line it's on having a good time. Educated gaming is like real work & who wants to work while on vacation?

Also you won't usually find me drinking in the CT casinos because the only thing I'm there for is gameing & getting money.

Bring a cane, fake a limp, and ask for a chair.

Better yet, bring your aunt's spare handicapped parking tag and wave it around.

Tannedandready, In a Roulette game players have to constantly get up from their seats to place bets, I don't see the difference.

I'll tell you what, chairs at the craps table would leave out a bunch of players when the table is hot.

As far as roulette, I hate to play it when the seats are all taken up. I really don't like to reach over people and "invade their space". Just me.

If you tell the pit boss or the box man on the table that you need a chair, they'll bring you one.

If you go to Connecticut, you must have seen Manue Bol at the craps tables (he's always there!) and he always gets a seat brought to him. Of course he's like 7 feet 9 inches, so the table is a long way down for him. . .

I agree that the staff would provide a chair if asked especially for an elderly or disabled person. But unless you're Manute Bol I can't figure out how you could shoot the dice sitting down. Maybe a high chair? :)

However, obvious troll post.
