Outlet Mall near Golden Nugget

Can you all tell me what outlet mall is near Golden Nugget, and is it worth going to? Also what would a cab ride charge?

Thanks

The only outlet mall that is close to the Golden Nuggest is on Mt Charleston Blvd.

I rented a car for the day to do off strip things and went to this mall ,so I have no idea what the cab fare would be. Maybe someone else will be able to help with that part of your question.

Great!

Thanks to both of you.

I thought about getting a rental car for the day, but not sure if there would be enough for me to do going alone.

Cab to Premium Outlets from Golden Nugget? Shouldn't be more than $10. It's not far from GN, probably walk it in 10-15 mins.

What I would suggest is make a list of things you would like to see for the day you rent the car. I am assuming you are staying downtown at the Golden Nugget. I stayed on the strip, so what I used the car for is the outlet malls, downtown and a few other off strip casinos. It was a lot cheaper than paying for cabs and more convenient than taking the bus.

You could make a list of what you would do and do it all in the day you rent the car. All of the casinos on and off strip have valet parking that makes it easy to visit other casinos. If you read this forum there are plenty of ideas mentioned of what to see in Vegas other than casinos. Have a great time.

I will be going again in May and really looking forward to doing some things that I did not have the opportunity to do during my trip in Dec..

If your staying on the Strip then take the bus system, just by an all day pass for $7. premiumoutlets.com/outlets/directions.asp…

If your staying in downtown Las Vegas (where GN is located) then take a cab. I would not walk from fremont street to the Outlet Center, the neighborhoods in that are not that good.

The 108 bus goes right by the outlet you are asking about- it leaves Downtown from in front of the train display between the Plaza and Main St. Station hotels about every half hour ( you'll see a bus stop sign on the post there.) Coming back you catch it across the street from the Outlets and it will drop you off Downtown at the foot of the Fremont St. canopy right by Walgreens- and just down the street from Golden Nugget. We're not interested in outets ( we have giant one here at home) but most say they are the best choice of the various area outlets and there are always peopleriding that bus to get to them- almost half the bus usually empties out at that stop. It is the same bus that goes to and from the airport from Downtown..

Actually I take back my cab suggestions, it looks like the 108 route also goes downtown, so just take the bus whether coming from downtown or the strip.

There are ticket vending machines and vendors to buy the bus passes from or just have the exact fare when boarding the bus

I've walked from Fremont Street to this mall. It took about 20 minutes. The buildings around the area are run down, but I didn't see another soul during the walk.

We took the 108 bus from downtown last March. I'm not a shopper and wasn't looking forward to this trip, but went with my friends as they have gone places I've wanted to go. I was pleasantly surprised. Since I hadn't been there before i didn't know it was an outside mall. What a nice surpise. We are starting to plan our March trip, and they are already talking about spending part of a day there. The bus worked great for us.
