resort fees and expedia bookings

Hi,

I'm just after a little bit of help

I'm possibly going to book a flight and hotel package with expedia, it looks like it may actually be the cheapest option. I know that this is not normally the case but it is a good price.

The hotel is the Venetian, which I know now charges a nightly resort fee. The expedia details claim that the price includes all taxes and fees, I cannot see anywhere in the details that there will also be a seperate resort fee payable directly to the hotel.

Do you think the booking covers the resort fee or not? Has anyone booked an expedia deal and they have to pay the resort fee on arrival?

Many Thanks

europe-chick

Just for the heck of it, I priced out a flight/room for the Venetian on Expedia- once you click on "select & continue" the next page shows the resort fee as additional - collected by the hotel.

I have booked a number of times with expedia and have to pay at the hotel for the resort fee. The only time i didnt was when it clearly stated no resort fee in the price.
