Ate at the following this year and service was fairly quick at all of them:

BLT Burger (actually took the longest), Carnegie Deli (they also have a takeout counter), Japonais (eat during happy hour for the $7.00 specials).

I was looking at the Deli menu and it said $3 extra for sharing. Any truth to this?

Yes, Carnegie Deli charges for sharing. I've been to the one here in NYC and they do this. Actually, a lot of restaurants charge for sharing.

Carnegie is a great place to eat. I took my food up to my room and didn't pay the sharing cost.

Well, quick really isn't if there is a line but otherwise the Cravings buffet is good for a quick meal as you pick what you want and eat immediately! :)

It's not too quick but the California Pizza Kitchen there is okay for pizza if you don't mind it being overpriced for the quality.

If you sit at the bar at CPK, the service is very quick. Excellent bartenders. Ate there twice and never waited more than 10 minutes from sit down to fork in.
