We stayed at the Signature with our son 17 and daughter 14. First time in Vegas for all of us. We loved this trip!!
We loved the Sig for the layout of the junior suite, the flatscreen tv in living room and bathroom, the huge whirlpool tub, the kitchen for a quick breakfast, the balcony, being brought ice water with lemon and frozen towels by the pool, etc.
The kids loved the huge, main pool complex at MGM. They loved the music, the huge virgin frozen drinks in the souvenir cups, the burgers, and especially the lazy river. It was nice to be able to choose between MGM and Sig's pools especially on Saturday, the only day we felt the MGM pool was too much of a party atmosphere for the kids.
The Kardashian's were there on Saturday and checked into Signature's tower 3 for a few hours before their party at Wet Republic. Our teens caught them walking out and my son was thrilled to get pics and an autograph from Kim.
The kids really wanted to see Criss Angel Believe and loved it despite the bad reviews we've read. It had great costumes, scenery and special effects, so we thought it was a great Chriss Angel/magic show, but a terrible Cirque show, as we have seen other Cirque shows in CT.
We did the 24 hour buffet on 2 of the days and managed to get 3 meals out of it each day. The lines for non diamond members are too long and there is too much to eat to go 4x in 24 hours, so we usually did dinner on the 1st day and a late breakfast and dinner on the 2nd. The line for the Paris champagne bruch turned out to be 3 hours long, but the bruch was incredible. The manager said that day that they would be raising the price due to all the complaints about the lines. Paris was by far our favorite buffet, then Rio, then Planet Hollywood, and last Harrah's.
We loved the lions at MGM, and watching them interact with their owners. The kids had their picture taken with a 7 week old cub for $25.
We toured the Wynn/Mirage/Bellagio/Venetian. etc., and would like to try one of these one day to be in the center of it all, although we did not mind the Signature's location.
We thought 6 nights would be too much, but felt we could have actually used 1 more night to see it all. We went to Red Rock Canyon for a nice diversion and got some beautiful pictures, saw all the free shows, shopped the malls, toured most of the casinos. etc., etc.. The kids were not bored for one minute!
