What are the best shows?

What else is there to do?

How long to stay? a few days?

You have no idea. Try some of the best restaurants in the nation; see some world-renowned shows. Everyone of the premier strip casino/hotels has worldclass entertainment and food.

I'd recommend staying at least five days for your first trip to Vegas, even if you don't plan on gambling.

There is so much to do in Vegas it isn't even funny. Obviously it's a great vacation destination if you like to gamble, but gambling is certainly not necessary to have a good time in Vegas.

The best thing about Vegas though is that it is a tourist destination that has adults in mind. In other words, it's not Disney World- and that's a *very* good thing.

Well I am not really into expensive food or gambling. I only do the slots anyways.

I could do shows!

Any recommendations for shows or other entertainment????

Don't forget the shopping, people watching, drinking, listening to the music and day trips to places like Death Valley and other natural places. During the warmer weather, there is also hanging around the pool

All of the Cirque de Soleil shows are good with Mystere and 'O' being the most popular. Avenue Q at the Wynn is also supposed to be excellent. Many here like Blue Man Group as well, there are also a good many other shows worth seeing.

Checking out the various casino's/hotels is also a lot of fun to do and it takes time. The shopping in Vegas is wonderful, an easy 4 days worth of things right there and if you add in Hoover Dam and/or Grand Canyon and other things, a week would speed by very rapidly for you.
