Give me some tips about PARIS

We will be staying there the week of May 24. If you have any tips about the property, I would love to hear them. (copied this from the MGM request and loved the question.) Restaurants, gambling, cocktail hours, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure when you check in you look up at the beautiful fixtures in the lobby area. Check out the restrooms near the check in too. Short walk to the room areas from check in which is nice compared to some other LV properties.

Most of the restaurants are fine with variety of prices available depending if you want a full meal or just a snack--supposedly the buffet is good at Paris. Had it once and it was fine, but nothing to get too excited about IMO but would go again. We do enjoy the cafe where you can sit outside and overlook the fountains at Bellagio and people watch.

The casino is open and bright compared to some of the others. We enjoy the VP bars and have been known to sit awhile and watch sports with friends. Bartenders are usually friendly.

Have a great trip!

Buy your tickets for the Louvre online ahead of time, the lines can be very long. The Mona Lisa is over rated and crowded too.

Only exchange money at a reputable place.

Try some French, they will know you are a tourist but will respect you for trying.

Dont order french fries.

They eat horse meat so be careful what you order.

"cocktail hours"

It's Las Vegas. Cocktail hour begins at 12:00 midnight and ends at 11:59 p.m. but don't worry it starts again at 12:00 midnight. :)

Seriously, check out Napoleon's Bar for their happy hour. I think they still give free roast beef sandwiches.

Have dinner on the patio out front at night (can't remember the name of the restaurant). Tell them you only want a table at the front rail. You will wait a little longer but well worth it to people watch and see and hear the Bellagio fountains. The food isn't the greatest but not too expensive and the location is worth it.

The buffet is best at breakfast. IMO Try the fresh strawberry crepes.

There is a really nice open lounge off of the Casino that has bands that play. When we have been there they have played motown or jazz music.

Yummy crepes (both at the buffet and at the creperie). Try the lemondrop martinis in the casino - one of my favorites!
