Luxury Room at Paris Las Vegas

Smarter Vegas has a deal for a Luxury Room at Paris for $60 a night in early 2011 when I am planning my first trip to Vegas with my husband for our 10th anniversary. Has anyone stayed in a "luxury room" and is it nice? Could I get a better deal if I wait until later on in the year to book? I have no idea what the normal discounts available are as this is my first vist to Vegas.

I am looking for some place nice but also relatively cheap, as I would like to spend that money on other Vegas activities. We are going Monday-Thursday if that information is helpful.

We always stay comped at the Paris in the Luxury Room. If you are looking for a clean room this will be fine. In fact upon checking in I usually ask for a strip view as high as possible. In the past I've always gotten this upgrade free, however this past trip (2 weeks ago) they said no free upgrade to strip view, but for $55 extra you can get the strip view - high floor and free continental breakfast and appetizers from 5-8 with 2 alcoholic drinks each. We did take this.

Had a great time - came home a winner. Would not hesitate to stay at the Paris again. Love that it's in the center of it all.

just spent 5 nights in one of those rooms last week, the place was fully booked so no upgrades were even available. It was great with 2 queen beds, separate tub and shower. Very clean and comfy. Nothing wrong with it at all and the location can't be beat.

A friend and I stayed in a Luxury Room in Paris for six nights in December. I thought the room was fine, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. There's nothing really special about the room, but it was decent and clean. The bathroom was large and nice.

I'm not sure about the usual best rates at Paris (we got our room comped), but I think $60 is probably a good rate.

In my opinion, Paris at that rate is a good choice given your priorities -- nice but also relatively cheap.

I hope this helps. Enjoy your trip!

The Paris is a great location and I love the casino there.....it currently has a lot of my money there. The rooms are fine and I am sure that you will enjoy them. Book the room now and if the price goes down call and they will match the rate....or if you see something else that you fancy...cancel and book the other.

I would say that the best route to go is book with the Casino it's self as you can cancel at any point. You can also make requests etc and in many cases they will do their best to make you happy.

Enjoy your trip to Vegas!

We stay at Paris often (are going this Monday). We are getting comped, but I think that is a great rate and you will not be disappointed. Be SURE to book through the casino, then if something better comes up, they will lower it. Should you find a better deal on one of the discount web sights, call them and mention the rate and they will match it. We too have done the upgrade to the concierge floor for 55 a night and we thought it was a great deal. That covers two people into that room and we more than got our moneys worth. I am also a fan of Mon Ami Gabi (Restaurant) and love it for lunch. You get lunch for $30 for two if you do not buy alcohol.

$60/night for Paris sounds like a great price. I would suggest what the others said- book it now so you have a place. Then, keep checking the price as the date gets closer. You can always cancel and re-book at the lower rate...or if you find someplace else. DO NOT cancel the reservation until you have a new one in place.

Staying at Paris for five nights in Sept. Four of those nights are comped. The other night is $80. The location is great, and I can't wait!!

I am pretty sure that the "Luxury room" at Paris is the standard room.

It's the "Red room" that is the "upgrade" at the Paris. And I think there are different levels of the Red room too.
