What the deuce? why? it's not like NYNY's sporstbook is that stiff of a competition...maybe Lagasse Stadium's rise prompted this. Darn it....as an ESPN MVP member I'm sad now...one less Vegas spot :(

Apparently there are seven that Disney owns and they are closing 5 of them including Vegas and Times Square locations

It was tough to get into for any sports action and they charged an arm and a leg for bad food once you got in there.

That's too bad. I always liked ESPN Zone and had some good times there. It's not only the Vegas one, but several other ones are closing.

Wow ! Times Square too ? I love that one -- Its always crowded -- nice big spot too -- guess it will not stay vacant too long in NYC -- Tried to get into NYNY ESPN in Vegas during March Madness -- Mistake ! Three hour wait ! Guess I will never get to try that one --

I was there in march for the bball tourney. We stayed at ny ny and went there to watch some games. It wasn't too crowded and the "sports area" area was pretty bad. We played some pop a shot games for some cash, but other than that a lot of the games were broken or off. I'm sure ny ny will have something there to replace it very soon.

NYNY had better do something about their sportsbook then, because it is an absolute joke.

Too bad. They provided me with one of my Vegas memories. My wife being a jockey riding a horse on the machine upstairs---and being beaten by a 10 year old boy, lol. I know, you had to be there, but it's one of my memories.

I will be sad to see it go. I always liked to stop there for a couple beers and some sliders and maybe some cheese fries. They were a little high priced and I probably wouldn't order much else but I did enjoy it for what it was.

I frequent sports bars often, never been a big fan of ESPNZone, whether in Vegas or any of the other locations Ive been. No loss for me.
