Ellis Island

A relative keeps telling us to go to Ellis Island for their BBQ Ribs.

Anyone who has been there please give us your experience with these Ribs. Love Ribs and really hate to get to a recommended restaurant only to be disappointed in them.

Thanks!!!!

I like it, many don't. Bit of a locals joint in a sketchy looking area, great ribs and other food though. Huge portions and some of the best microbrew beers ive had.

Watch out for the old panhandler next door at the gas station, pretty harmless but he will hit you up for a coin or two!

I like EI.. I think for food is pretty good. EI isn't for everybody although a lot of people do like it. It's a local hangout that isn't over priced or glitzy. Down to earth place with some great $1.50 beers (big glasses) and cheaper drinks. It's a must go for me now everytime I'm in Vegas. With the ACG coupons I have to go even if it's just for the 4 free drinks!;)

I like EI for their food and beer. We had the bbq platter last year on the 2 for 1 American Casino Guide coupon. I wish I had a picture to show you. The platter consisted of a slab of ribs, 1/4 chicken, bbq beans, 2 corn cobettes, cold slaw and Texas toast. It could feed two hungry adults and I think it was $8.99.

YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES! My husband and I would take visiting friends and relatives for the Rib and it was a hit everytime! Make sure you get a casino players card to save a few bucks.

Yes this is a fantastic place for ribs! Look forward to it every year on our trips. It is located on Koval Rd. behind Ballys not a bad walk at all.

Great place great ribs. Ribs at 4 pm till not sure. A lot of locals at 4 pm. 2 for 1 Thurs on pizza also really good and tons of different beer and thier own brewery, One platter of ribs or ribs and chicken is enough for 2 people for 11.99 with card. Tons of food plus beans corn on cob, slaw, bread. Try the home wheat beer.

I'm not normally a big rib fan, but when we're in Vegas Ellis BBQ ribs are on our must do list.

We'll be in Vegas on July 6th & are already planning on at least 2 visits to EI.

They also have great microbrew beer for $1.50 a pint.
