We arrived early, 930 or 10AM. Had a limo take us to the Paris. Treated our daughter and son and their spouses. Thought we had three rooms under my name, the check-in woman said no I didn't. Now we were nervous as it is, and this woman made us look stupid. OK, we get our rooms, ask for a room with a view, sorry, ninth floor for us. That meant the air conditioner view. I figured. Twice we've been to Vegas out of 9 times and got the ninth floor, I will never take it again. If you like seeing air conditioners.
Paris is a nice hotel. Nice food places, nice casino and location is right in the middle of the strip. Pool wasn't too hot. We enjoyed our four nights.
No we go to check out, yep, we got the same gal! I asked if she could take anything off and gave her my rewards card. She took something off, fine. Asked if she could deposit my only post card, she raised her hand to direct me to a box, then she took it instead and it did get mailed. Not the nicest employee at the hotel.
On a different note, my wife tells me that a woman came into her office and said she just got back from Las Vegas, and stayed at the Paris. Listen to this!!! She teaches French at a local high school, the check-in woman was from...yes, you got it...France! So they speak French to each other. She gets upgraded to a suite, overlooking the Bellagio Fountains!
Go up to the Tower, it's really cool.
Our kids did the Insanity ride at Stratosphere. That looked thrilling.
I didn't know they have another bus along with the Deuce. Called the Ace, it doesn't make nearly as many stops as the Deuce.
Had most luck sports betting. Some luck on VP and the slot we really love is Deal or No Deal.
My daughter-in-law got to 'come on down' at Price is Right at Bally's. Others went to the Elvis show at Aria and simply loved it!
Saw some of the NHL players at the Palms for the Awards show.
Going back in October.
