restaurant.com gift certifcate question

I have a $25 restaurant.com gift certificate, and was wondering is that worth $25 worth of purchases on restaurant.com, or is it worth just one $25 restaurant certificate? I hope I'm not confusing.... Right now a $25 certificate is being sold for $10 and with 70% off, the cost is $3.00. If I use the gift certificate will I have $22 left, or do I just get face value? Thanks.

The $25 Restaurant.com gift certificate will buy one $25 restaurant certificate, no matter the discount offered. Use these when you are paying "full price" for the certificate ($10) when the new certificates come out at the first of the month.

I had the same question today until but it was answered when I tried a purchase - I have a $10 gift cert - tried to buy a $25 cert that was $10 = no dice

so its a voucher for a $10 off cert only (full price, no reductions)

I hope I'm not confused either. Sounds like someone gave you a $25 gift certificate, not a $25 certificate for a specific restaurant - right?? If yes, go to www.theidealmeal.com and apply the gift certificate #. Pick your area of choice, i.e. Las Vegas, look thru the difference restaurants and pick a $25 restaurant certificate of your choice.

It IS worth $25 of restaurant.com purchases. But, since they mostly offer $10, $25 and up certificates, if you choose two $10 certificates, you'd lose the extra $5, Gosh, now I am confused. A minute or two on the website should make things very obvious, I think!
