your favorite slot machine....

Hi everyone. Because I am not going to Vegas for another six months, maybe this will give me a bit of a fix or hold me over till I go. I was just wondering what are your favorite slot machines and where are they located. Also, did you win jackpots on them.

Thankyou very much.

Phantom of the Opera- there are quarter and dollar ones.

I hit the Phantom, phantom and single 7 for $450.00 on a $20.00 investment. 3 times on 3 different machines.

Fun machines.

Hi 7777,

My favorite slot machine use to be Haywire Deluxe but on my last visit to Vegas (Dec 05) we played Family Fued and had a blast win or lose.

We met some of the nicest people and had fun for about 3 hours. We have only found them at NYNY and MGM.

Hi 7777

My favourite slot is now Wheel of Fortune. On my last trip in November I won $1200 in the Stardust then a couple of days after won $1000 in NYNY!!! Before that my favourites were Winning Streak and Stampede, but they were very hard to find on our last trip. Cant wait for October to come round so I can get my Las Vegas fix!!

My best interactive slot is Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, The only place I could locate these last month where at Aladdin by the strip entance door direct to the casino no the dessert passage entrance.

My others are Wheel of Fortune Double Diamonds, I hit $400 on the 25c machine. And Barking bucks.

I've recently gotten hooked on the 9 reel penny "Double Diamond" machines. They offer bonus free spins and can be quite profitable if you hit the right combinations. I find I can play max credits more often on these (usually $.90 - $1.80) and so have a better chance of a big hit. I have seen them in banks of machines that were progressive. Other than that, I like several video penny slots...Jackpot Party and the newer Super Jackpot Party, Mariachi Madness, ___?__ Eagles (can't remember name, but eagles are wild and the video of it soaring down to catch a fish in a lake/stream is awesome), and too many to name. Also like Double Diamond Deluxe in $5 denomination.

Based on statistics, the slot machines are the worst thing to do as far as gambling goes. If you have 6 months, learn to play blackjack with basic strategy and narrow the house edge from 20-50% down to about 5% or less.

My favourite non card game is that game where you bet 25c on the order of the first two horses to cross the finishing line.

This is a great game, and I have had great fun with $30 and had about 4 hours entertainment at the same time.

The only place where I know this game exists know is at the MGM. If anyone knows any other hotel that has it please let me know.

Over the years Sahara, Ceasers, Luxor all had it. But as it is a game from the 60s, once it breaks they no longer have the parts to fix it. Great shame imo.

My wife loves that horse game.. I'd be interested to know as well if this still exists anywhere to take her.

My three favorite words in Vegas are "WHEEL OF FORTUNE"! I love that game, not to mention that we won a few hundred dollars on those machines at Paris.
