Quick (TONIGHT!) - Which Steakhouse (Venetian/Palazzo)

I am going on a much deserved date with my husband tonight to dinner and a show. As the mom of a 3 month old these opportunities are quite rare. I'm tormented re: which restaurant to choose! We know we want a steakhouse and we aren't too concerned about price. It needs to be in the Venetian or Palazzo (or Wynn, since that's where the show is, but nothing there looks good). I've narrowed it down to:

Carnevino

Delmonicos

Cut

Has anyone been to any of these, or better yet, all of these? I need opinions! Right now we have reservations at Cut, but the Yelp reviews aren't promising. Since this our only chance to get out for the next few months, I want to pick the best restaurant possible!

I've read consistently good reviews on Delmonicos. I'm sure many of the newer steak houses are considered better but Delmonicos has been around for a while and they're still a great place to try. I've heard their side items are wonderful and very large!

Have you considered the steak house at Circus Circus? No matter what the casino gets rated - their steak house seems to get great reviews.

I can't weigh in on the other ones, but Carnevino was excellent.

I've been to Circus Circus Steakhouse many times and love it, but we wanted to try somewhere new this time. Plus, we have a show at Encore at 8 (Garth Brooks, yippee!!) so we can't be too far from there. We also are considering SW. It looks like SW gets pretty good reviews, even better than Cut on Yelp.

We loved Cut. I don't think you can compare with Circus Circus Steakhouse given the menus. Cut is really for steak snobs with many different types and cuts.

IMO, it depends on the type of experience you want, Cut is great for a special occasion.

If it were me, I'd go with Carnevino. But any of the three are good.

Cut. Without question. I've had three amazing meals there. My brother, who is the pickiest and most likely to complain person ever, said that was the best steak he ever had.

I've only eaten at Delmonicos and it was excellent. Although, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three. Review the menus and consider which gives you the best options in terms of appetizers, wine, dessert and price. Your steaks will be top notch at all three.

I agree with the PP.

I find the sides at Cut to be a little more interesting and innovative than the other two so whether or not that appeals to you only you will know.

Delmonico (no "s") is excellent but Cut is wonderful. I ate there for the first time last month and it blew me away.

I've read amazing reviews about Carnevino recently, so that'll be my next stop. But...having been to Cut, it was amazing and I wouldnt be concerned with the Yelp reviews its an amazing experience.
