2011 New Year's Eve NY/NY Bridge Bash - Pics

I'm skipping the TR and just doing pictures. As I know when I had researched NYE in the past that is what I wanted to see. So URL is below. Any questions please ask away.

This was our 2nd Bridge Bash, 2009 and 2011, did the Bellagio NYE in between. May ask why would you go from the B back to NY/NY. I wanted to see the fireworks this year - 2009 they didn't have them off the roof tops due to the Monte Carlo fire earlier in the year.

This was the best party I've ever been too. Was it cold - I guess so - but with all the free booze and non-stop dancing who could be cold. Was there enough room? Yes - until the end when everyone was by the DJ dancing then it was like a Mosh Pit but no one cared, and no drinks were flying - only beads from the 2 VIP stands on the bridge. Lots of free booze, there were 2 parties included in the invite, but we didn't attend day 2 - I think it was called Recouperation - maybe not but something close. DJ was fantastic, this is the biggest party on the strip without being in that godd forsaken crowd. You get free drinks and the Nine Fine Irishmen house band inside the NFI plus access to the bridge with DJ and cage dancers. Only disappointment this year was you had to have some special wrist band for the 2nd floor balconies - who cares I didn't even see anyone out there - they were too busy playing the $100 slot machines. The free drinks and party was 9-1 am. The crowd is mixed, young, middle age, old, whatever. I didn't see anyone not having fun.

Only other negative would be bathrooms - NFI has very little bathrooms maybe 3 stalls - so you got to go into casino or wait a long time. I would suggest they add some porta potties. Luckily I was good - but DH almost busted a gut.

Enjoy the pics and I'll be happy to answer any questions. We were invited guests, but you could buy tickets day of and on website for $135 a piece.

No dinner - we ate at Gallaghers prior and it was very good this year - King Crab and Filet - can't go wrong and lots of Grey Goose Cosmos! Cheers!

Can't wait to look at your pics. Mr and Mrs Gator was there too but I don't think he's back yet. :)

NICE Pics - thanks for sharing them - the more I'm reading the NYE trip reports and admiring the pics, the more I'd like to experience a Vegas NYE...

Figure it's something to experience once in a lifetime...

I've been 5 times and each one has been different. Last years Bellagio party with unlimited Dom Perignon was fantastic but I got tired of being at the table and alot of people left, it was beautiful and the band was Kool and the Gang - but I just like it a little bit more laid back and seeing the strip.

Hey CR!!!

Happy New Year to You and Randy!!

I loved All the Party Pics, and the ones of Y'all all dressed up on NYE! You both look so fine!

Thanks for sharing all those fireworks with the rest of us that weren't in Vegas.

We attended the Bridge Bash bringing in 2007, and I have to agree I think NYNY's Party was the best all around, it definitely has the best view!

We said everybody needs to do NYE Vegas once in a life time... but, looking at your pics and details of the Party make me want to go back again and do it all over again! lol

Thanks again gf for sharing the big bash with us!!!

Thanks Carolina - How was NO - A friend of mine was there but being very tight lipped never did NOLA for NYE. Thanks for the nice comments. I'll be in NOLA 2/17-2/20. Had to cancel my Lake Tahoe trip because of a work commitment on the 21st so switched back to NO!! Maybe we'll meet up again!

I just got home late last night, so will do a full review as part of my TR eventually, but just wanted to say I totally agree with CRAustin. The NYNY Bridge Bash was awesome!

Open bar, both inside of 9 Fine Irishmen and several bars on the Bridge, never a long wait for a drink, great DJ outside and great live music inside, heat lamps for the cold, a great crowd (but not too crowded that it felt cramped - pleanty of breathing room), and a spectacular view of the fireworks from several rooftops.

CRAustin - I just nervously looked through your pics to be sure there were no incriminating shots of Mrs. Gator and me, and I'm happy to say we weren't captured :) Great photos though, and I do remember seeing your husband several times! I also wanted to say thanks for the review 2 years ago. It was the best review I saw of this event and the reason I decided to book it this year. I really appreciate it!
