Restaurants -mid price

Can't wait til our July visit..3 nights at the Cosmopolitan after a 2 week road trip through California.

Now I am on a quest for the best mid-priced restaurants (under $20 pp).

What are your favorites on the strip or off ??(we will have a car as well). I am not too keen on buffets...sounds crazy but to me buffets can be germy if they are not well set up with barriers to block coughs and sneezes.

Thanks!

Our favorite restaurants for a meal around $20 total price would be: Primarily Prime Rib at South Point, Cortez Room at Gold Coast and Prime Rib Loft at Orleans. By no coincidence none of these are in hotels on the Strip.

There are several gourmet burger places within your budget on the strip and off. Folks here are partial to Stripburger. I like Burger Bar at Mandalay Place. Way off strip at the Red Rock in Summerlin, I also like LBs.

Dos Caminos at Palazzo has good Mexican food.

Off strip I like Noodle Exchange at Gold Coast.

Many of the hotel cafes are also good and several have a nicer atmosphere than one might expect for a hotel cafe: Grand Lux at Venetian or Palazzo are popular, but I prefer the Bellagio Cafe for food and ambience. Raffles at Mandalay is also nice.

If your budget includes alcoholic beverages, you will be hard pressed to find such a place on the Strip (other than burger and pizza joints). I really like Todd English P.U.B., which is right next door to Aria. You can get a good, but casual, meal with a beer for under $25 - $30.

The $20 pp and under budget does not include beverages...just the entree.

In that case, you do have many more options. In addition to Todd English P.U.B., you might want to check out La Cave, which is between Wynn and Encore. It is a small plate / tapas style restaurant which has a nice atmosphere and very good food.
