Some Free Attractions in Las Vegas

Some Free Attractions in Las Vegas in order of what not to miss (my opinion)

Fountains at Bellagio – These are my absolute Favorite.

Hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 3 p.m. - midnight. Saturday and Sunday, noon - midnight. The fountains run every half-hour until 7 p.m. and every 15 minutes after that until midnight.

The Sirens of Treasure Island – Very good show - lasts about 20 minutes. Go at 8:30PM and then walk over and see the Volcano at the Mirage at 9PM.

Hours of operation: Open daily, 5:30, 7, 8:30 and 10 p.m

Location outside the Casino

Show in the Sky at the Rio – This was also a very good 20 minutes show. There are free shuttles to the RIO from Balleys

Hours of operation: Show plays every hour on the hour from 7 p.m. - midnight, Thursday through Sunday.

Location inside the Casino

Fremont Street Experience

MGM Grand Lion Habitat Details - Hours of operation: Open daily, 11 a.m.- 7 p.m.

Conservatory at Bellagio

Volcano at the Mirage

Hours of operation: The Volcano plays nightly every hour on the hour from dusk to 11 p.m.

Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo – Not much to see.

Hours of operation: Open daily, 8 a.m. - dusk.

Fountain shows at Caesars – Not really worth the trip only if you are in Caesars anyway.

Hours of operation: Fall of Atlantis and Festival Fountain: Every hour on the hour Sunday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - midnight.

World's Largest Permanent Circus at Circus - Circus

Details – Not worth a trip, but if you have kids Circus Circus is like a big midway at a fair.

Thanks for posting.

I doubt you'll find too may people agreeing that Sirens of TI is "very good". "Pretty bad" would be my verdict, especially compared to the old pirate show which was always a blast. Rio's Show in the Sky is another that was remodelled and relaunched a few years ago and is way inferior to its original version.

Bellagio Conservatory is definitely worth a visit and if you're close by (not really worth a special trip), Wynn's Lake of Dreams is pretty cool.

I have to agree with blagger about the Siren Show and the Masquerade Village Parade in the Sky. Both went from being cute, worth-it shows to being "adult" but very, very lame and not worth it IMHO.

The Bellagio conservatory and fountains are both must sees. The shows inside the Forum Shops are not worth it, but the Forum Shops itself (both as a mall and an attraction))would be worth a visit.

If you like art- the Chihuly Gallery and the Richard MacDonald gallery at CityCenter are good. I actually got to meet Mr. MacDonald on my recent visit. There are sculptures/paintings all over the CityCenter complex. You can get a map of them at the consierge desk at the Aria.

There is also a small art gallery at the Cosmpolitan (third floor), but the Cosmo itself if just filled with different pieces of sculpture, paintings and photos. It is one incredible hotel.

I agree with gus75220! I love to just walk around and look at the architecture, and art all along the strip. I also enjoy people watching, which is abundant. Both of those being free and 24 hours.

The number one free attraction is being able to walk thru all the hotels.

For one who has never seen the original Pirate show or the Rios show in the sky they can still be a great take for the first timer. I would always suggest the first timer to see them. Las Vegas changes constantly sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse.
