M Life Offers etc.

Hi All,

I'm a big fan of this great forum.

I just checked out current offers through my M Life account. Currently the promo's are only going out through March 31st, 2011. We are interested in staying at the Bellagio starting on May 15th. So I called Bellagio Marketing and was told that the summer offers had not gone out yet and that I should keeping checking back for offers. My question is.....how long in advance does MGM put out offers? When can I start seeing offers for May. Any ideas?

Here is the other dilemma I am facing. Through Orbitz, I can get a package for five nights from Indianapolis, staying at Bellagio for around $740 per person. Airfare alone is running around $340 per person. That means the rooms will cost around $150 a night (roughly) through the package. Any ideas if I might get a better offer through M Life than $150 per night? Through March 31st they are offering rooms at $129 per night. I don't know if this offer will repeat in May. Regular rates in May are $239 per night...

Sorry for the rambling...I tend to do that. Just confused and curious as to what other folks might do/have done in my situation.

Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Anees

I'd book that $340 flight and wait for an offer code. We booked flights outta Minneapolis for $350ea 4 weeks ago that are now $550 each (7 weeks to travel). We are at Mirage (an MGM property too). I booked recently when they had a 72 hour sale on their facebook page, but I actually expect to see better rates the closer we get and will call res to have them lowered. Check sites like smartervegas.com, fatwallet.com and earlyvegas.com for promo codes that are far better (from what I've seen) than the Mlife promos. Also, "like" Bellagio on facebook if you have an account.

Good luck!

I have been getting offers from some mgm hotels by email, that do not show up on the mlife website. Some of these offers go to august but they want booking by the end of february. I have a feeling the mlife website is not being kept up to date.

Since you have some record of play, call the players club at each casino you might want to stay at and see what you get for offers.

If you have an Mlife account, but no offers yet for the summer, perhaps you could call the B and ask if they have a casino rate they could book you for on those dates. That may be cheaper than your package deal. Then if you get a summer offer, just rebook using that.

Thanks all. I think it is wise to hang tight on the room offers as it is only February and I don't go until May.

Thanks again!
