Resort Fee!

I have noticed that some hotels will charge a resort fee to the guests and I was wondering what this extra cost entitles you to?

I have already booked 10 nights at the stratosphere so I am a bit concerned that I might have to pay an extra daily charge when I eventually arrive there!

I think you should be more worried about the hotel you booked rather than the resort fee.

Nothing wrong with the hotel besides being at the north end of the strip.

There is a $7.50 per night resort fee.

Or "north of the north end of the Strip", as the case may be...

I guess you could call that the North end of the strip. I would probably call it "off strip." I know that it's technically on the strip, but most consider the Wynn the end of the strip on the North end (which I would agree with).

And, since I really wouldn't consider walking to any of the "real" strip hotels from the strat, I wouldn't really consider the strat as hotel to stay at. Heck, the Riviera may be a better choice of hotels (or Trump for that matter).
