PH ok after CP?

We usually treat ourselves to a Caesar`s Augustus Tower room when we vacation in Las Vegas. But, finances being a bit tighter this year, we`re considering staying at Planet Hollywood. Anyone stayed at both? Am I really going to regret this?

If you're this worked up already, better to stay home.

I hop all over the place - high, low, super high, super low...doesn't bother me one bit. Each one is a different experience, a new perspective on the same place.

He does that to everyone on here, just ignore.

In regards to your question - it's more expensive the Planet Hollywood, but have you looked into PH Towers (right behind Planet Hollywood and attached through the Miracle Mile mall)? The rooms are nicer, more spacious all have a kitchenette or full kitchen.

Just stayed at PH Sun - Wed and asked for a complimentary upgrade on arrival. They were very helpful and we got a much larger room, with the soaking tub. I was happy with the room, and have stayed in the Augustus and Forum rooms at Caesars in the past as well.

Another possibility, but I don't think the rooms would be nearly as nice as PH, is to stay in a lower echelon room at Caesars (older towers)...that's if you like CP's location, pools, etc. PH's pool is sort of not great (I guess that depends on your age and what you're looking for in a pool). PH is a great location, especially if you haven't explored CityCenter or Cosmo yet, you're right across the street.

Nightdrive is ok if you are not super sensitive, he's funny in a Bridgefan sort of way.

I too am making the change to PH from the Augustus Towers at Caesars, for my trip to LV in 2 weeks. Although I am comped at either, I feel a change is needed. I have been to PH Casino and shows several times, but never stayed in their rooms. Seems a very lively place.

Like Warmwinds mentions "...different experience, new perspectives..." .Hope you have a great time!

I have to be honest with you. We did this on our last trip, went from CP to PH and I was disappointed with the PH rooms. Yes the bathrooms were nice and big, but the room was just too dark.

I'm probably a bit biased though because we always stay and play at CP and I love it very much!

But everyone likes something different and I'd say go for it. Hope you have a wonderful time and let us know what you think!!

I've also heard the Bally's North Tower rooms are nice, and if you don't mind being off the Strip, try the Rio (all rooms are suites).

Cheers!
