Hotel with a balcony...

Hello,

We're looking for a hotel room that has a balcony.

Kinda strange, but after a few drinks, I'd like a cigar, and don't want to smoke in the room. We're going to the Mystery show at Treasure Island, so any hotel (including TI) near there would be good.

We're not gamblers, and will be traveling with a 13yo

Thanks for any suggestions!

Your best bet is likely to be the Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan has balconies for many room classes and is a couple of blocks from TI

Cosmo and Imperial Palace. Also Signature at MGM but it is all non-smoking there, so your cigar on the balcony probably wouldn't go over well there.

Cosmo is actually a loooong way by foot from TI. I suggest just enjoying a smoke in the casino and get a "free" drink while you are there.

But yeah, Cosmo is the only hotel with a balcony that I know of unless you high roll at the MGM and you get one of their few balcony suites.

I always respect non smoking regulations....but when i'm staying at the Signature at the MGM in August I will definitely be having a smoke on the balcony....couldn't give a damn if "goes over well" or not to be honest.

Another big mistake in the design of the Cosmopolitan. In 105 degree heat, you don't want guests opening windows and balcony doors while the hotel is paying for air conditioning.

If they do not allow smoking on the balcony, Hopefully they will charge you for whatever amount it is that you agree to when you check in and sign that you are in a non-smoking room and agree to pay a cleaning charge if you do smoke in the room.
