Treasure Island room question

The first 3 nights of our stay we are booked in a Strip View room at TI. I have heard that I should make sure our room is not overlooking the Sirens show because these rooms, although Strip facing have bad views...can anyone help?

Not a problem, and you can still get a fantastic view. Just make sure you let them know that you want your strip view to be facing SOUTH. There are anly a couple of hotels on the north side of TI, so even a Strip View room won't have a very good view if it faces North. But the TI view facing South is one of only two Strip views in Las Vegas that I recommend paying extra for.

The rooms are fine. Views will vary depending on which wing you're assigned (you'll face either north or east) and how high your room is. The shows are loud, but don't run too late, and fireworks may fly past your window, adding to the Las Vegas sizzle.

when you c heck in, ask for a Pool view room. that is the south view one of the best in vegas It you can get up to like 30th floor or higher, great view,

avoid the front view. who needs the fireworks.

Thanks everyone. I thought it was at Mirage that the pool view was also the best Strip view.

Ktinca - You are so right. I hadn't even thought that the view may be facing north when I booked, so didn't even state a preference..

So, I should request a south facing room, with a pool view? Or should I just ask for a pool view?

We had a fantastic view of the Bellagio Fountains & Eiffle Tower, I remember being able to see the pool if we looked down.

I think you are right, the other poster is confusing TI with Mirage. At Mirage you ask for a pool view and also get a view south of the Strip. But it is no where as nice as the view from TI due to the angle of each building.

You've paid extraq for a Strip View, just tell themyou want to face south, or Mandalay Bay if they aren't sure.

Hi

Last night I emailed Treasure Island and this morning, to my surprise I had an answer from them, so thought I would share.

"Thank you for your email. Sorry for the confusion. Our deluxe room with a guaranteed strip view as you has booked face south down Las Vegas Blvd. Our deluxe rooms without a guaranteed strip view will face east which is known as the “battle view” above Sirens Cove and other rooms may see part of the strip because we have three wings in our tower. Please reply with further questions. We hope you enjoy your stay."

So, that answers my question.

Thanks everyone!

We are pleased to see your question has been answered. However, just to clarify some comments left by others, it is OK to request "a high floor with a pool view" to specify a Strip View Room overlooking the TI pool as well as the South end of the Strip. While we are unable to guarantee exact room locations, with 2,884 rooms and suites, we normally are able to accommodate most requests. We look forward to seeing you!

Thank you TIvegas...should I call and make changes to my reservation as I did not request anything when making the reservation? It will be our first time staying at TI and booked because on tripadvisor I had heard about the great Strip views...and the view is very important to us.
