Airport shuttles?

Hello everyone, what is the best way to get to your hotel/resort from the airport? Do some of the hotels offer shuttles?

Thanks :)

There are public shuttles that take people to any and all of the hotels. But most Las Vegas hotels do not run their own dedicated shuttles. Which hotel are you asking about?

Personally I feel the best way is by cab, which usually costs about the same for a couple as the shuttle, and is a lot more comfortable and convenient.

thank you so much ktinca. I've no idea what hotel/resort yet cause I've only just started to explore options. It will be our 1st trip to a resort area that wasn't in Mexico! So I've no idea what to expect.

"Best" way to me means quickest and most convenient.

If you're not going to rent a car or splurge for a limo, a taxi would be best.

Estimated fares here:

Do a forum search for "tunnel" or "tunneled" or "tunneling" to see what that's about and how to avoid problems.

Most of the hotels on the strip do not have their own shuttles.

There are general shuttles available from the airport. However, you may have to wait a while until more people get on before leaving the airport. Then you may end up taking a tour of the back of other hotels while others are dropped off before you. It could take a while before you arrive at your own hotel. Most people like to get to their hotel to start their vacation as soon as possible. The shuttle will cost between $6 and $8 per person (depending on where you are staying and which company you choose).

If there are two or more of you- a cab could end up costing you the same amount of money or maybe a bit more- but it certainly is faster and more covenient IMHO. The line may seem long, but it moves quickly. The fare is the same for 1 to 5 passengers.

I would always opt for a cab- even if I were alone.
