Has anyone ever done this tour?

I have never been to vegas and have meetings half of a friday and all day that weekend. However, I am not flying out until 11 pm that Tuesday so I have two full days and would like to see some sights. I found this tour on the internet and it looks like allot driving but since I have never been to these locations I don't know if the alloted times are enough at each location. What do people think?

www.bundubashers.com/tour.php…

I will be going the second weekend in August so maybe people can't spend allot of time outdoors and that is why the times were selected. I have no idea but am not people on this forum will know immediately.

Pass on that, looks like a mad dash to me! But I don't like those organized types of tours myself anyway. "And to your left is Hoover Dam..." I like to go where I want, when I want and spend as much or as little time as I want to the places I visit.

Plus as you've never been to Vegas before, there is just TOO much to do and see there than to go on this tour.

OMG

I am the first one who tells peeps if they are going to Las Vegas to skip Las Vegas and see the incredible National Parks that surround it.

I would do it if I were you.

It is a ton of driving in a small van but you already know that.

You are going to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon instead of the cheesy North Rim. There is a world of difference.

And, Bryce and Zion are incredible.

I have never been on this tour. It does sound brutal in terms of the driving. The drives themselves will be beyond boring for the most part. It is a pity you cannot stay at one of the parks for a few days and than the other.

But, if this will be your only opportunity, go for it.

You can see casinos anywhere. But, not places like the Zion, Grand Canyon, etc.

Good Luck

You've never been to Las Vegas and are considering spending your only free time on the road through 2 nearby states? Makes as much sense as using Boca Raton as a base to see Savannah, Atlanta and Hilton Head. There's plenty to do in Las Vegas. Enjoy the city. Maybe on a future, longer, non-busness trip you can plan time to see those nearby sights.

It makes perfect sense.

I mean, really, where else would you fly into if you wanted to see Zion?

Can't think of a better place to fly into to see Zion.

BUT... having read the OP, visited Las Vegas many times and used it as a launching point to other locales, and especially considering it's the OPs first visit, it make no sense to me. Looking at the big picture.

Visiting all those places in two days is insane. Talk about a drive by.Five to seven days would make more sense.

Do a search for reviews of that particular company, you may want to think twice.

Rent a car for a couple days and head to Zion. Its three hours from Vegas.

Hmmmmm

I did a forum search as per above poster recommended. I would not book with them after reading the comments. None were favourable.

They have a really bad rep on here. I have looked at one of their tours before and the bad reviews (not from first-time posters) put me off.

Pink Jeep Tours are very good and offer tours to Zion, the Grand Canyon and Death Valley (not at the same time!). I'd definitely book with them again based on the couple of tours I did with them and that was after reading great reviews about them on TA.

Based on the posts of four individuals I will find a tour company that goes to fewer locations for the Monday and Tuesday that I have free. There is a two day tour that just goes to Bryce and Zion so maybe I will do that tour. Another option is a one day tour to Bryce and a one day tour to a different location.

Nightdrive, Boca Raton is 40 minutes north of Miami and more than an eight hour drive to Atlanta. Hilton Head is much farther. In contrast, Zion is allegedly only a four hour drive from Vegas and Bryce is supposedly much closer.

Zion is just under 3 hours from Vegas. Bryce is two hours beyond Zion, so about 5 hours from Vegas.
