Restaurant.com certificates - no expiry date.

Hiya,

I have read many, many times on TripAdvisor that restaurant.com certificates have no expiry date.

I purchased 2 $100 certificates back in April - 1 for StripBurger and 1 for BB Kings. We were planning to go back to Vegas in Feb, this has now been postponed for a year till Feb 2013, or maybe even later that year.

It just seems to good to be true that my gift certificates will still be valid 2-3 years after I bought them!!

They are unless the restaurant stops participating and then you will get a refund. It's wonderful customer service that they assure.

Thanks Shrinkgirl,

It's good to know that I will need to check out nearer the time if the restaurant is still participating for them to still be valid.

Thanks again,

Yup, there are no expiration dates on the gift certificates. If you change your mind about a certificate- for any reason- you can exchange it for another restaurant certificate so you don't even have to worry about a restaurant dropping out or closing.

I see StripBurger currently maxes out at $50, so you may need to have them split your $100 cert. And... be sure to read the T&Cs - spending $100 at StripBurger is going to be an awful lot of food.

You might want to verify that BB King's is still in the program as well.
