First time in Vegas

Okay, we will arrive in Vegas on a friday late september. We have tons of plans. We will stay at the Cosmo till thursday. As I said we have tons of plans BUT we really have no clue where to start. What would you suggest to do for us first timers (age 30/37, 2 couples from the Netherlands) on the first day ever in Vegas?

The first thing to do is get a measure of the place by walking round a few centre strip hotels. Fountains are great, but best when it is dark

If you've never been before do not under-estimate the fun you'll have just getting your bearings

Go for a cocktail on a patio somewhere on the strip. Rhumbar at Mirage is nice.... and you will walk right past the Bellagio fountains if you head in that direction.....

But like others have said, just give yourself time to get your bearings and soak it all in. There is a ton of things to see and do in LV.

First day after a long flight with a long trip ahead? Just relax. Enjoy the pools and bars that Cosmo offers. Explore the property and just take your time to soak in the atmosphere. Perhaps venture next door to PH, Bellagio and/or Aria.

Don't do too much walking right away. You'll want to explore but trust me, don't over do it! The last thing you want is to have sore feet for your whole trip because you were too excited to see everything there is on the strip right away.

Possibly some "jet lag" symptoms for you so just hang out at your casino for awhile, nap if needed, nice dinner, cocktails, lounge lizard stuff and then, on the next day--GO NUTS!!
