We just went for the first time last month and spent a week there. Our favorites were Big Elvis show at Bills, Fremont street, Eiffel tower at night, Hash House a go go restaurant. Have lots of fun! We did!

At the Bellagio see the fountains, the glass flower ceiling inside where one checks in, and the conservatory. Also see the volcano at the Mirage, Forum Shops at Ceasars, and the canals at The Venetian. Check out the Cosmopolitan.

For a good deal on restaurants, check out restaurant.com. If you want to hit just one buffet go to either, Bellagio, Cosmo, or Wynn. There is a ton of good advice on the forum.

10 days is a fairly long stretch for Vegas. Don't feel rushed as you will have plenty of time. Don't try to plan itinerary's in great detail - just have a list of things would would like to do. You definitely have time to spend an evening or two on Fremont street. I would get an american casino guide (order online from amazon or Barns and Noble.com for @ $14 - get new, not used). There are usable enough free slot plays / match plays / food coupons to pay for the book 10X over.

befor getting addicted to staying at caesars palace we stayed at luxor 3 times.

now its been several years but we enjoyed staying and playing there just fine.

you mentioned buffetts so ill give you my opinion on it...........better than alot of posters may give it credit for.

,not over the top,but enjoyable, and the huge salad bar with crack and peel shrimp is a great way to start.

there is a tram which takes you to either mandalay bay,or going the other way as far as excalaber.

outside where you catch the tram are some nice places to take pics .

theres some shopping if you walk between luxor and mandalay bay and its not that far of a stroll.

luxor is part of the mgm props so your players club card will earn you comps from all of their props such as mb, bellagio, monte carlo, nyny ,excal to name a few.

enjoy.

only big complaint while staying there was the timeshare ppl on property, just ignore them. there is also some debate over what tower, you can stay in the pyramid or ???sorry i forget the other tower. the tower i cant remember the name of are the most recently renovated and a host will usually steer their players in that direction, although staying in the pyramid was an experiance.

one thing for sure we wanna do is black friday shopping, hence the dates we booked. i presume there is an outlet store? think i have read there are one on each end of the strip?

buffets we love love love! eating is my only concern when it comes to vegas, i know the entertainment will look after its self but i hate to pay for a meal & not get good value which is why the buffet comes into place! if you cant find something to fill your belly on a buffet then you dont deserve to eat!

I think you will find the buffets dearer in Las Vegas than Orlando, unless you go off the Strip. For a special meal I recommend Mon Ami Gabi opposite the Bellagio. If you get an outside seat you can watch the fountains.

Try the Cosmopolitan for a buffet. I heard at tip that if you go at around 10:15 you pay the breakfast price and they start putting out the lunch food around 10:45. That way you can eat both if you want.

In Vegas, the better buffets are going to be expensive. They are much higher quality than what you will get in Orlando, and you will pay for that quality.

Don't discount other places as well. Stripburger is very popular on this forum. I personally love Margaritaville as well.
