Good sports book downtown?

Friday night, we plan on a visit to Fremont street. We would like to watch some of the preseason football game while getting the evening started right with libations. Where would we find a good sports bar to watch a game?

I like Benny's bullpen in the back of Binions. A good book right ouside the door. Get there in time to get a couch.

If you just want to watch a game, pick a bar rather than searching out a sportsbooks.

I was going to say.....which are you looking for......a sportsbook or a sports bar?? The title of your thread says sportsbook, but then you ask about a sports bar. There really aren't any "good" sportsbooks Downtown because that's the beauty of Downtown. No big sportsbooks so no big crowds and long lines. But the one at the Nugget isn't bad. You should check out the Plaza after they finish the whole renovation.

The Plaza used to be my favorite due to its size, comfort and viewing options. Hopefully, the remodel will make it even better.

The Nugget's book is the best downtown but it is small...comfortable, but small.

If I weren't betting I'd hit a bar instead.
