Definitely don't tip everyone you look at, lol. I usually only tip dealers if I'm up. :)

I've heard the money trick is hit or miss. I've always been too scared to try it!

The '$20 trick' is not really a trick but a sweet bride to the check-in clerk in the hope of an upgrade....

I always take a cardi, but it depends on how well you fare with air con. Some hotels have a more agressive air con running and you can feel chilly. Also depends on alcpohol consumption. Normally my wine blanket gives me enough warmth....

Have a super trip!

We were just there last week and I always had a light sweater with me. I either tied it around my waist or just draped it over my purse. The air conditioning feels really good when you first walk in the casino, then after a few minutes, you freeze!

This is the two more sleeps club--me too!

Bring a cardigan and you can decide it you are cold enough to need it. Definitely cooler in the casino, pretty warm these days outside even at night.

Try the $20 trick if you want to. If it scares you a bit to do something like that...good, you're in Vegas!

Tip the people who have a service relationship with you if they are giving good service. And it will encourage them to do even more...money talks in Vegas.

But bottom line--smile at everyone, tip when you want to and have a blast!

I pack light. At this time of year I would still be wearing summer clothes and never need a jacket or sweater. But, I know people who get cold in air conditioning and the better hotels/casinos have pretty good AC. If you have room, pack a light one.

Low 90's to 80's by this weekend with the possibility of rain. We may have had our last 100 for the year already. Bring the sweater for the plane and some casinos with the ac. No need for a winter coat yet;)

It may be 100- or 115 -outside, but that doesn't mean the casinos, restaurants and/or showrooms won't be a bit cool. Many people find them on the cool side (I am not one of them). Take one, just in case.

Many people get an upgrade just by smiling, being friendly and asking politely. Then they tip the person if they get an upgrade. Some people think that $20 worked for them, but they have no way of knowing if they would have gotten the upgrade by just asking.

You tip anyone and everyone that provided a service to you.

One thing I have discovered, even in the 116 degree heat of a blistering Las Vegas summer day, SOME showrooms are absolutely freezing. I forget which showroom my friends and I were in, but we ended up putting our arms inside our shirts. LOL And I am normally NEVER COLD. So I suggest having something to put on your arms in some casinos, restaurants, or showrooms.
