Its important to me, I need a good bed and a clean room. I used to be able to sleep anywhere that was just cheap and clean, but now I need a good quality mattress and to feel a bit pampered by the room. I like to be able to fall asleep easily and not have any worries about the room I am in. It is vacation afterall!

For me, it is not that important. As long as it is clean and the air conditioning works well, that's all that's really important to me. I'm okay with a basic room. Like many have said on this forum, you aren't in the room that much in Vegas.

Not that important to me nor is the view. Only in the room to sleep but that does not mean I dont want clean, bright and somewhat modern.

While we like a nice comfortable room, but unless we have a real suite (seperate rooms) the room doesn't really have that big of an effect on the type of trip we have.

HOWEVER the choice of hotel does matter. Different hotels provide different experiences. They have different atmospheres, provide different ameneties so we have a different trip. This is most notable at the pool, where there is a huge difference between hotels. The other big difference is in the casino. There are some where we spend more time because the gambling conditions are good and others where we can not gamble at all. And of course the level of luxury matters. A stay at Four Seasons is very different than one at Monte Carlo.

So while the room may not be that important your choice of hotel is.

The room and amenities are all part of the vacation experience for us so we like a nice room with a view and a lot of the latest and greatest features. That's one of the reasons we are going back to Vegas in March after a few years away is there are several new hotels with swanky/modern rooms.

I didn't say clean above as that should be a given that you'd expect that. I don't know anyone that goes into it and says, "eh, so-so on the cleanliness is fine." hahaha

I do have plenty of friends who don't care about the room or any of that and that's cool too.

I think it is pretty important. In Vegas, it seems there are so few places to chill out that it's nice to have a decent room when you need much needed down time.

It depends on the type of trip. Living in S. California we go to Las Vegas several times a year. Not all trips are the same for me. A girls trip will be at a different hotel than a trip celebrating my anniversary with my husband which is probably a different hotel from when we come in for a quick one-nighter to see a particular headliner in town that weekend.

They always have to be clean, have a good mattress/comfy pillows, and I prefer a soaking tub separate from the shower but that is not a deal breaker. Oh and I need a nonsmoking room.

A view means nothing to me.

The room type doesn't matter but to get good pools casinos restaraunts you get a good room.

We love the Venetian or Palazzo but could get the bigger suites but always stay with the standard because we like the resort

A big room just makes it easier to lose your key in.

Only in my room to sleep a few hours and shower so not that important....like it clean, but otherwise the rest (view, modern furnishings, tv size, etc). is pretty unimportant

Not so much the room matters to me as the hotel itself. I would rather stay in the worst standard room the V/P or the Wynn has, versus the best Suite the IP or Stratosphere has.
