The George Wallace Show

Has anyone been to the George Wallace Comedy show at The Flamingo before? I want to to go on my next visit in June, and just want to if he is as funny in person as he is on television? Is the show worth going to?

A large group of us went to see Mark Curry at the Hilton (we enjoyed ourselves) and George Wallace came to support him. He got a little too funny and Mark had to remind him that his show was down the street...

Overall, both were average. George told the same style of jokes that he does on television. I did not know that he was 73 (looks amazing).

I would say if it's under $35, then it can't hurt. Personally, I would not pay that much to see him after listening to a few of his jokes during Mark's show. They were funny but I was not rolling out of my seat.

We went about 5 years ago and thought it was the funniest show we ever saw. We saw him again on this trip in November and it was just sad. Very few people in the audience. We had a booth by ourselves. He has stage plants in the crowd he brings up. I don't think we laughed much at all. We used the $49 coupon out of the LVA reward book.

It's been years for me too - but I'd go back in a minute - I love him. He changes his show all the time based on current event. Of course get the best deal you can.

Probably the best comenian on the strip - I know some argue Carrot Top and I love him too.

The internet says George is 59 years old. he is not 73. I think you are confusing him with Garrett Morris

He declared himself "Mr. Vegas" during an interview during the Republican debate in Vegas. Not sure if Wayne officially passed the torch though...

I could be wrong about his age. I could have sworn that he said 73 years of age when he attended Mark's show. He kept complaining about being old; maybe that was a part of his routine.

We saw him back in June and he was funny but not laugh out loud funny. We had free tickets so no complaints, but would not see him again.

I saw him a couple of years ago. We bought our tickets at Tix4Tonight. We both really enjoyed his show. I would see him again, except there are so many other shows I haven't seen yet.
