Cost of the nasty habit

What do cigarettes cost in Vegas? Figured it is not worth breaking the habit before going to smoky casinos..might as well enjoy it while I can. Curious as to the price so I know if I need to save room in the suitcase or buy them there. And there have to be some smokers on the board right ?

There's always an excuse not to quit.

Get a good quality e-cigarette and you'll be surprised the environment you can endure while not caving in to cravings.

I was doing some research of my own (I'm a smoker too, I know, I know) and I read that this place is worth the trip: http://www.lvpaiutesmokeshop.com/

I think from what I've seen they recommend the Main Street location:

Main Street Smoke Shop

& Cigar Shoppe

1225 N. Main Street

Las Vegas, NV 89101

Camels are around $7 a pack here. But I know it varies by state.

Pall Malls are still under $5 in Iowa. I think Camels are damn near $7 though.

When I moved out of Chicago in 2007 though, they were over $8 a pack.

Arg, gotta quit.

I'm going to tease you Lizarellie !!! Stop that habit tomorrow morning cold turkey. If you were smoking even 3 packs a week (or God forbid a pack a day) you will have between $15 to $35 extra a week between now & your wedding.

Save that aside in a special envelope & do something SUPER SPECIAL for that wedding trip!!! Just think of the great feeling you will have when you have a great surprise for your hubby (Limo? Special Show on that one day honeymoon? Room service for breakfast? Helicopter trip over strip?) & tell him you paid for it from the money you saved by quitting smoking. I bet his jaw will drop & he wil be very proud.

Far be it for me to criticize someone elses vice, but the taxes on a common plant like tobacco make the habit just untenable. Take up a up a better valued addiction, like crack.

Ten bucks sometimes in the casinos. Bring them from home or go to Walgreens to buy them.
