Incidental Charges???

The hotel i am staying at is charging $50 a night for incidentals. Will the Luxor disable the ability to use any of these features, so i do not have to pay it? Also, can i just hand them a Fifty dollar bill and get it back when i check out? That is assuming i do not use any incidentals.

Thanks!!

Just use your credit card, they put a hold on those funds so if you do make charges to your room, watch a movie, etc they have funds for those charges.

Once you check out the funds that they have held will fall off in a few days. Most hotels in the world do this.

$50 is one of the less expensive holds.

Like others said, $50 hold is cheap, room rate must be low. Dont use your debit card if the $50 a night could be an issue. If it is an issue maybe you should'nt be going to Vegas????

I wanted to leave the CC at home, but if i have to take it i guess i will. I was planning on only taking Cash and a Debit card. I knew that using the Debit Card for IH is not a good idea.

I thought the nightly hold for Luxor was $100 per night? I would call the hotel for specifics, though most will disable your ability to have anything charged to the room if you pay in full at check in, or they will take a cash hold in place of a credit card. Again, the best advice is to phone the Luxor for the most accurate information.
