Just curious if anyone has seen Jay Leno @Mirage. How was the show?

The reviews have been mixed. He's doing some really old timely stuff, like clinton & Monica.

He needs to work on his material.

My son and I saw his show last August.

A lot of his stories and jokes we had already heard on his show. Some new material. What I noticed most was he continually paced up and down the stage.

If you are a Leno fan you will like it no matter what ( my son is and he did)

If you love Leno it would be worth it to see him in person.

It is a small theater. Not a big crowd of people.

Warm up act about 20 minutes, Leno show maybe a little over an hour

We are going to LV in June but I don't think we will see it again.

Why would ANYONE pay ANY amount of money to see that guy ANYWHERE since you can catch his act for FREE 5 stinkin nights EVERY week?

We are going to see him April 21 and despite what StauchSteve says I believe we will have a nice evening. Of course using StaunchSteve's logic, why would we go to Las Vegas when we can watch Vegas Vacation at home? duh

We saw him March 3. He does a great job, and really had the crowd roaring. The only downside was that we saw him two years ago at a convention, and after he gets through the first 30 minutes of new stuff, he falls back on jokes he's been telling for years. To be fair, most comics do the same thing.

The warm-up act is a country singer that seems a little incongruous with the LA based Leno. He's decent, but I'm not a country fan.

"A lot of his stories and jokes we had already heard on his show"

Enough said by someone that actually PAID to see act.

Go ahead and waste your money seeing him "Live" at a much greater distance than your TV set.

steve,

perhaps there is something that will change your mind about the leno show.

did you know that they serve a world famous sirloin steak for only 4bucks

p.s. why would anyone go to ellis island for a 4 buck steak when they can get the same thing in a tv dinner at home for 3$?

The first hour is so,so. The next 30 minutes becomes agony.

Rest rooms are very busy the last 30 minutes.
