Barefoot after a night out

Is it really frowned upon in Vegas? I'm awful in heels but hate going to clubs in flats! I can guarantee I'll be wandering around in the early hours after leaving a club, heels in hands. Will I get some less than friendly looks? I can roll up flats in a bag, but I won't be taking a bag big enough to fit heels in when I swap them.

I'd be more concerned about the "less than clean" feet. Blech. Couldn't pay me enough to walk barefoot on the casino carpet, much less the outside pavement areas. One look at what people are getting up to there and you'll figure out some other way of getting by...

Hahaha ew. But after more than a few drinks it's astonishing how these thoughts get overlooked. I was once stopped in the street after a night out by a random guy who demanded I put my shoes back on as the street was disgusting.

Aaaahhhhh ........ The Vegas Walk of Shame!!!

Not frowned upon ...... just plain NASTY!! Can't imagine why in the world you would PLAN on a situation where you are going to be barefoot in Vegas.

You see it all the time. In fact we even played a drinking game one night where we had to drink at every barefoot sighting. There were plenty !!!

Not exactly planning to walk bare foot, I'm just debating whether heels are a good idea or not!

All Vegas hotel bell desks will day/evening check a bag for you (even if you are not a guest). Put your other shoes in a smallish carry-on type of bag & check it at the bell desk of the hotel where you plan on going to the club. Retrieve your bag when you are done at the club & change shoes.

Vegas is so huge when you are walking that you know already that you will need flats before you ever go. Just remember it could be a 1/2mile walk to the club from the entrance.

Take a cab and don't walk barefoot...your liable to get some kind of unknown disease doing that.

I have just bought some roll up shoes in preparation for our June trip and they came in something smaller than the size of a can of coke, with a folded bag inside the container to put your heels in when the time comes. Perfect!

They came from amazon.co.uk.
