some help please

Okay all Las Vegas experts - some help for someone who has never been... I'm thinking of surprising my husband for our 30th anniversary - however it is July 24 - too hot to enjoy? We've been to Myrtle Beach and Florida in the summer... Secondly, Westjet has a sale on right now and could get 4 nights from Toronto at this time, Bellagio for 1693, or Ventian or Palazzo ( I think) for 1715 - is this good or should I wait - prices even from US seem just as high or higher - or flight for 962 and Signature studio for 400 all inclusive, - want something fairly nice. Signature seems highly rated on this site but concerned about distance to venues as some reviews say it is a long walk.... So any opinons for a first timer and for these dates would be most appreciated!!

I would suggest staying at V/P or Bellagio. I like Vegas in the summer. I went for the first time in the winter and would pick summer anyday over winter. I have been several times ( to both Vegas and FL) in the heat of the summer and IMO summer is much more tolerable in Vegas!

Sorry can't advise about the money factor.

You will have an awesome time I am quite sure but hope you pick a prop directly on the strip! V/P and Bellagio should be perfect.

Just to provide another perspective, I think the summer heat in Vegas can be very uncomfortable. I've lived my entire life in Texas so I'm used to high temperatures. However, on one of my July trips the 108 degree daily highs were pretty stifling! I don't care it it's a dry heat - 108 combined with lots of concrete surface is HOT! It may not be that hot on your trip, but you can bet that every day will be at least 100 degrees.

Nevertheless, as long as you're prepared and know what to expect, you'll have a great time. I would also recommend V/P or Bellagio as opposed to Signature, just for the location factor. You'll want to minimize your outdoor walking.

I would recommend you consider Bellagio or Palazzo amongst your choices. July is too hot for us, so we don't go very often, but some like it. We just don't use the pool, and limit our walking outside.

I'm afraid I can't help with prices as we don't do packages.

July is lovely. If you like the dry heat around 110-115f like we had back in 2010, you would love it with a ice cold bud light in the cool pool.

We go every August because we know the weather will be good for the pool. Yes, it's hot but if you drink a lot of water and not spend too much time outside (except at the pool), it's fine. And since we are getting ready to celebrate our 37th anniversary, I am assuming we are probably your age or older.

Bellagio or V/P or check the price for Wynn. All but the Venetian will have fewer kids in the summer. I have been told the Venetian tends to attract more families.

To figure if the price is reasonable, look at booking separately for hotel and air and see what the prices are. The hotel prices themselves will probably come down for July. It's a little early for the best deals.

Yes its warm but very nice as well.

Lots of fluids and you should be fine.

We go on lots of walks and just duck into casino's too cool down.

great for sightseeing the strip.

the heat in Vegas is dry but compared to Myrtle Beach or Florida - I'd take Vegas anytime. Just drink plenty of water. And lounge around the pool everyday
