Longhorn Casino

Does anyone know who owns the Longhorn Casino? I can't seem to find much information online at all. Does it even have a website other than its Facebook page?

Thanks.

They have arguably the best blackjack in Vegas for low rollers. It's a dive and I'm not aware of a website. Good luck!

Thanks. It seems to me that they must be independently owned since there is no information I can find to indicate otherwise. I'd just like to verify that and it might take a phone call to them directly to find out.

I believe they are owned by the same company that owns the Bighorn. There are a couple of phone numbers on the back of the ACG coupons for Longhorn. They are 702-435-9170 and 800-825-0880.

I know they (and Bighorn) have their own players club card called the Bigshot players club. They gave us a package of cookies as a sign-up freebie when we signed up for the Bigshot card in January.

Thanks for the info, 16gauge. It warms the soul to know that there are still casinos that try to entice players with random promotional giveaways like packages of cookies. Those places are disappearing quickly.

Longhorn has turned into my new favorite "dive" casino now that the Western is closed. I have only been there in the AM when it was pretty empty, so I don't know what the evening/weekend "atmosphere" is like.

I used the $10 ACG matchplay while I was there. Ended up staying for about an hour as I was traveling with a Vegas Virgin buddy of mine. The $2 BJ (with decent rules) what perfect for him to get comfortable playing BJ. I'm heading back to Vegas later this year with my wife. Contemplating staying at Sams Town our first night. We will definitely be making a stop at Longhorn.

JNC, I did get the peanut butter cookies. Agreed, very good. My buddy got the oatmeal ones.

I stopped in there last night, on my way to Tommy's for a double chili cheese burger. (Tommy's is about half a block north of the Longhorn.) I lost my first 10 hands of Blackjack, playing basic strategy the entire time. (OK, I deviated from Basic Strategy once. I stood on a 12 against the Dealer's 2.) I did not play an 11th hand. This is no longer one of my favorites.

(Actually, I won't stop going there due to one really lousy run.)
